Introducing Kenny!

Hello there! My name is Kenny and I have been in-love with tabletop gaming for almost 20 years, ever since a much younger version of myself was gifted “The Battle for Macragge”. I continued to play Warhammer 40k as well as pick up several more bad habits including Warhammer Fantasy (RIP to a real one), Necromunda First Edition, Mordheim, and Warmachine at the end of Mk 2. I played Warmachine competitively through most of Mark 3, which is how I met Jaden and the rest of the Line of Sight team. Jaden frequently kidnapped me for Warmachine events far and wide, and I’ve been happy to return the favor for Warhammer 40k.

Fast forward a few years, and I’ve found my calling in playing in the more competitive tabletop gaming scene, organizing local events, and helping build stronger players and communities at my local store (much love to all my cohort at The Game Shelf in Kent, WA). These days I play mostly 40k, but actively enjoy Conquest, Adeptus Titanicus, and Blood Bowl. I am still “local” to Jaden and one of his more frequent opponents, and very excited to be apart of a one-of-a-kind team who love games and this hobby just as much as I do.

Taking part in the 40k Grand Tournament at the Seattle Open 2022!

So what can you expect from me? Regular content for my favorite games, for both enjoyment and (hopefully) mild education. I will not claim to be the greatest tabletop-games player that has ever lived; but I hope to provide an honest and competitive slant to a “everyman/everywoman” perspective that helps you find joy in our wonderful hobby. I look forward to providing insight on how to grow as a player or painter, musings on our games and community, as well as my woefully biased opinions on my favorite armies.

If you’d like to get to know me better, feel free to reach out to me on the Line of Sight Discord! I am always happy to wax lyrical about games, the health benefits of Taco Bell and minimal sleep, and how to just roll dice better.

If you’ve managed to make it this far, thank you for reading. I’m looking forward to this next chapter with Line of Sight, and hope you enjoy it too. Until next time!
